KAYAKS

Kayaks are a wonderful way to explore the tidal creek and to go back and forth to the beach. Mace House is only one house away from the Prince George Tract, a large natural area bordering on the creek. We've seen ibis, bald eagles, egrets, marsh hens, osprey, mink, otter, deer, wild turkey, and many other creatures while paddling.

Rent the kayaks: Our kayaks are available for $75 for one and $50 for each additional kayak for each visit. . This fee includes jacket and paddle. Please specify the number of kayaks wanted to rent. We currently have six kayaks available for rent. All are single kayaks. NOTE:These kayaks are NOT ocean kayaks and cannot be used in the surf. They are ideal for the marsh and creek. Other kayaks, including surf kayaks and double kayaks, are available from the rental places along Highway 17, at a higher rate.
